  • Instructions

    • Step 1

Create a folder on your computer's hard drive where you will store everything related to your website. This is where you will save all images and content for the site. Within the folder create a folder called 'images' and place all the images you will use for the website within this folder.

    • Step 2

Decide on a color scheme for the website that will be compatible with the site's topic. Use three or four colors at the most.
    • Step 3

Open Photoshop and create an image with resolution of 1024 x 768 and a transparent background.
    • Step 4

Using the rectangular tools, filler tools, blending tools and texturing tools, design a background template design for your page. Make sure to include a navigation bar, so users can get around your website. Include the website's logo at the top and copyright features at the bottom. This is where you can let your creativity go wild, and create something amazing that will work well with your topic. (see included image for reference)
