I am glad you asked that. The mistake that I see over and over again is that they have taken causal to such an extreme. It is a very negative effect when moving upward. Jeans are not acceptable and I think you should stay away from denims because in a corporate situation it is considered not good. It is always a good thing to have the third piece because it finishes the outfit. In other words, if you have a very causal pair of pants, such as cotton or linen with a button down shirt, pair it with a sweater to coordinate. Put it over your shoulders tied around. It just puts it together.
