Buy Hair Dye For Less Than $7

Buy hair dye that won't leave you broke. Tired of high cost at home hair dyes? This article will help you dye your hair at home for $7.00 or less!

At some point in your life did you decide that paying upwards of $50 at the salon to have your hair dyed was just too much money? Lots of women have. Getting your hair dyed professionally is not so special. They use the same chemicals that you can buy and your hair color doesn't last any longer just because you had it done at the salon. Many women have realized this. Those women have turned to at home hair dye kits. Those kits are so easy almost anyone can do it. Recently, though, those kits have been getting more expensive. Here's a way to get around that.

It's really quite simple. All you need to do is go to a beauty supply store that is open to the public. Once there, all you need to purchase is color and developer. You have your choice of many different brands of each. The choice on the brands is purely up to you. If you still want to use Clairol or whatever your particular brand was, that's okay because they sell all of them. The bottles of color will be displayed by brand and sorted by the color codes. Some stores will have all the colors shown so you can see what you're buying, others will not. So if you usually use the same color of Clairol, check the number on the home kit before you buy the individual bottle of color. The bottles of color cost around $4 and the bottles of developer cost a little over $2. However, one bottle of developer will last you three colorings. That puts your total at a little over $6 plus tax for your first time, and $4 plus tax for your second and third time.

When you buy it at the beauty supply store, you won't get instructions or conditioner or gloves, but you really don't need them. As for the instructions, it's pretty easy. You simply add the color and 2 ounces of the developer to a metal bowl and mix well. Next, apply to dry hair, starting at the roots and working downward, saturating all of your hair. You can either use a reusable plastic brush, bought at the beauty supply store for under a dollar, or use your hands, with or without gloves. Hair dye washes off hands. When all of your hair is covered with the dye, simply pile it loosely on top of your head. Leave on for approximately 30 minutes. At the end of 30 minutes, add a little warm water to your hair and work into a lather. Be sure all of your hair has lather in it. Then rinse with cool water until the water runs clear. Next, apply conditioner. You can either buy conditioner at the beauty supply store or use your usual conditioner. Your everyday conditioner works just fine. Simply leave conditioner on for 3 minutes and then rinse. Style your hair as usual, and reapply color every 4 to 6 weeks.

That's all there is to it. It's not too hard for the normal woman, and it may even help the busy woman, as you don't have to spend a long time in a salon to do it. The best thing is, it will save you a bundle over time.
