We have four camping areas. The one that is right here in Galena has 50 wooded acres. There is a laundromat, swimming pool, miniature golf, it's just a couple of miles from the historic district of the community, but has a very nice outdoor wooded feeling. We also have one in the county that has access to the Mississippi River.
We also have a State Park with great hiking and biking trails. Then there's the Galena River Trail beginning right here in the city of Galena and ending at the Mississippi River. It just opened this spring. It is 3.38 miles and is an abandoned railroad bed that has been turned into a hiking and biking trail with spectacular wild flowers and foliage.
