Make healthy foods and healthy choices. I have a lot of pregnant clients right now and some of them say they are not hungry at all. So, they have to force themselves to eat. Make a healthy smoothy with protein powder and non-fat milk or soya milk and some fresh fruit. Do not drink a soda or juice. Eat small amounts of food more frequently so you can keep your blood sugar even. And, whether you are pregnant or not, eating real, health food, smaller portions more frequently and more nutrition, less empty calories and less junk.


There is a certain point where we do have to monitor how much we are eating when you're pregnant. I find for most pregnant women and certainly, I don't come into contact with thousands of pregnant women, so I can't give you a huge sample here. But, for most women after a certain point, they will have a lot of capacity for large amounts of food. The problem is when women are pregnant and they just eat ice cream and drink milk shakes. Well, you can eat a lot of that before you fill up. Making sure that just like whether you are pregnant or not, you sort of fill up on the healthy stuff so there is less room for the junk. Always make yourself eat your salads and your vegetables and your grilled chicken breast or whatever it is first and then eat a cookie.
