Getting the Free Google Toolbar Pop-Up Blocker

Step 1
Open your Web browser and go to www.toolbar.google.com. -
Step 2
Click on the "Download Google Toolbar" icon on the right side of the screen. -
Step 3
Read Google's Privacy Notice, then click on the "Agree and Install" tab that is located below the notice. -
Step 4
Download the Google Toolbar program as directed by the windows that will pop up. Follow all directions as they come up on your screen. -
Step 5
Click the "Install" tab and install the Google Toolbar as directed. -
Step 6
Enjoy the Google Toolbar and all of its features, including your free pop-up blocker.

- Tip: If the Google Toolbar isn't working properly to block pop-up ads then you may have its pop-up blocker feature disabled. Go into the Toolbar's menu and make sure that the pop-up blocker feature is enabled to fix this problem.

- Remember, some programs and websites require pop-ups to be enabled to work properly. Using a pop-up blocker while visiting such sites may result in problems. Luckily, the Google Toolbar pop-up blocker has a feature that allows you to allow pop-ups on certain sites, but to disable them on all other sites.
