There are a number of speciality shops. You can buy from the native American Communities. You can also buy woven materials, if you are in need of blankets and those kinds of things. Then, of course, the turquoise jewelry that the Native Americans produce is very popular down in the old town area. There are also some shops that bring in some Mexican specialties. So you have sort of a mix of everything and then art. There are a lot of local artists. There are local galleries down there or you can buy regional artwork that has a Southwestern theme to it. Some of it is portrait work, but there are all kinds. So you get all sort of the same kind of shopping that you get in Santa Fe, only it's a little less expensive.
Q: Where is the shopping located?
A: We have a couple of different spots for shopping. We have the old town area. Then, we have Nobhill area, which is just East of our university. It has eclectic shops. Then, we have two major malls in the uptown area for the standard shopper.
