There's really not a way that you can describe it, but it is absolutely gorgeous. The opening of the cave measures 126 feet wide and 25 feet high. It is wonderful. Inside has got the big rock canoeing and mystery river, which are absolutely gorgeous. There is a waterfall. The path that you take is a new path because the old path we had to walk across the side of the cave, back to the wall and do a little crawl around. That's because you didn't want fall of into the mystery river that runs there. Also, they lifted the scaffoldings so that we could build the bridge to go across the mystery river. You take that little bitty trail across to see the other parts of the cave, but it's absolutely gorgeous. It's actually 60 degrees when you get in there. It's wonderful. There is a gentleman that purchased it many, many years ago. He knew it was there. He dug through that, to get to the place. That was his dream; to have it open. Then the state bought it and since that time it has been opened and closed, and now its administration in the past 6 or 7 years has re-opened it and it is a functional state park. It is open seven days a week and it is only closed at Thanksgiving, Christmas day and New Year's Day. We would like to call it our oldest but newest attraction. Admission is $8 for an adult, $5 for children and of course they have special rates for schools and offers for groups.
