A lot of times mothers or fathers will bring children to Reiki classes and the children can learn Reiki right along with the adults. In most cases the children do better with Reiki than adults do.
Why do you think that is?
Reiki is very abstract. It is hard for a lot of people to believe and the older you get, if you haven't used alternative medicine before, the harder it is for you to break away from what a M.D would say or prescribe you. A lot of people really depend on prescription and medicine. People are very medicated these days and I think children are young haven't yet learned that going to a medical doctor is the only way. Children aren't set in their ways and don't feel the need for prescriptions. They just accept things easier. They aren't afraid to practice on other people and research has shown that children learn things easier. The younger you start to learn it the better you are at it. It is just a part of what you do when you grow up instead of something difficult and new that you have to force yourself to learn later.
