Next, hold the denture brush vertically and use the small tuft of bristles on the back of the brush to vertically clean the inside of the upper front teeth.Repeat this cleaning action for the back teeth using short, gentle strokes.Next, brush the outer teeth of the lower jaw denture with the same horizontal motion that you used with the upper teeth. Clean the inside teeth of the lower jaw denture in the same manner as the upper inside teeth.Clean all chewing surfaces by holding the brush flat and using a gentle scrubbing motion. Use the tuft of bristles on the back of the brush to clean the ridge or area where the false teeth connect with the gum. As you clean examine the dentures to ensure that you have brushed all inner surfaces, and connecting areas of the false teeth.Pay special attention to areas that come in contact with the mucous membrane.The entire cleaning process should take approximately five minutes. When you are satisfied that the dentures have been thoroughly cleaned, rinse them in warm running water.

If you encounter hard deposits or plaque build-up during the cleaning process do not use a hard bristled brush or sharp object to dislodge them.Never resort to vigorous brushing to remove the deposits. Continue gently brushing the affected area for a short time.If the problem remains ask your dentist to remove the deposits or plaque build-up.
