Overview
Over time and with repeated use, HP DeskJet series printer cartridges can become clogged with ink. Print quality suffers, resulting in streaking lines, white lines or a failure to print certain colors. Replacing the defective ink cartridges can fix the problem, but this can be an expensive and unnecessary solution. Thankfully, the existing printer-ink cartridges can be cleaned rather than replaced.
