How to Clean Print Cartridges for HP 7350 in Vista

    The HP PhotoSmart 7350 printer is a well-rated HP printer. Earlier models do not include a driver for Vista. You can, however, download and install a compatible driver that will allow you to clean the print cartridges quite easily.
    HP 7350

    • Step 1

      Find the Vista Compatible Driver on the HP website (see Resources for link). Follow the directions there to download and setup the compatible driver.

    • Step 2

      Test your printer by printing a test page. Select the printer and click properties. Click the General tab and select print test page. If the page prints correctly, proceed to step 3 to clean the cartridges.

    • Step 3

      Click the Start or Windows Icon button and select Control Panel.

    • Step 4

      Double click the Printer Folder. Right click the icon for the HP Printer and click Preferences.

    • Step 5

      Click the Services tab and select Service this device. The printer toolbox will open. Click the Device Services tab and select Clean the Print Cartridges. Three levels of cleaning are available.
