It depends on the club. It depends on the region you are in as to the competitiveness of the club. But, for example, in the bay area there is a club that I know that when you signup you get two free personal training sessions right off the bat. You get a nutritional consultation with that and two training sessions for free. But every club is different. As far as price goes, if you are going to spend $40 to $50 per hour for personal training, you get what you pay for. If you are paying for something less than that I wouldn't say it is a bad deal. It is all predicated on the knowledge of your personal trainer, background, history, and experience as to how successful they might be for you.
