Feng Shui is an ancient Chinese practice that involves the use of air and water for energy. Within this ancient practice as various ways in which the four elements work together in order to create and balance the energy that is available from the areas around us. One of the methods that are used to create this balance is by the use of crystals.
Teresa Hart, a full time Feng Shui practitioner, has used the element of crystals to form balance and redirect energy for several years. Through her practices and advice to others, she has stated how to use Feng Shui in order to best utilize the energies in your body as well as the space that you are living or working in.
When Hart begins her Feng Shui practices with a crystal, she will use it almost like an acupuncture needle. She has stated that the most conducive crystals to use are multifaceted, round and about thirty millimeters:. "I use the 30 mm because of the number 3 that is connected with it. It looks like the crystal ball that used to hang from chandeliers in the 20s," states Hart.
At this point, Hart will use the crystal in order to redirect energy in the body or room. The crystal will be placed and moved in a particular area, which will allow the elements of air and earth to collaborate and stabilize: "It is redirecting the energy, it is slowing it down. It is balancing the energy in a room. We use this to redirect the balance to stabilize, and it is because it is refracting the light that it does it. Then, you add your intention to it."
The use of the crystal, when it rebalances this energy, will provide for different areas of your home or inner energies to become stable. It is known that crystals will add what is known as an electro-magnetic frequency to the space. This will add balance between the elements that are in your area. If you have clutter in your office, an energy block in your home, or a lack of organization, a crystal can be set in the area in order to rebalance the energies.
Not only does Hart know that the uses of crystals will help with the Feng Shui practice, but also uses them in her daily life: "I am actually sitting over one as we speak to bring clarity, to balance the energy off my desk. I also have one in my car to balance the speed of the energy coming out of me when I am driving. It redirects the energy and balances it."
The idea behind Feng Shui is to use the elements in order to create balance. As can be seen, this balance can be found in different objects and energies. Crystals are one way to make sure that the energy is redirected and stabilized in any area that you are in. If you are practicing Feng Shui and have found that there are areas in your life that seem cluttered or not clear, than using a crystal to help stabilize the area is proven as an effective method.
