I think there is a trend that is continuing in the open- design home; people are not as formal. Designs are more informal now, so having your semi-private spaces more open to your semi-public spaces makes a smaller house feel larger. So that's kind of a big trend that's been going on for a long time and I don't see any end to that. The latest trends are with the style of the house itself. Another thing that has been going on a while is the mixing of materials- getting a little more eclectic with the exterior materials and interior materials. We are doing a lot of stone, some brick and some high-touch tactile materials inside the house. Then we are using a mix of materials on the outside of the house too, so you have a mix of stones and bricks and stucco and different kinds of siding. You don't do all that on every house, but you maybe pick a couple of things that are appropriate on the exterior, and then you try to bring those materials into the house as well. You want to make the outside and inside work together. That's a trend that's been going on a while, as well as some lesser trends that are more stylistic. I am seeing more of what I would call a Spanish influence; I have seen more now than in a long time. The Tuscan look has been going on for a while, but I have seen a trend even more toward the Spanish flavor coming in. A whole different trend is a more industrial look where we are using metals and bringing metals inside the house. Then on the exterior we are using the brick and metal and cement siding with a cleaner and more daring or modern industrial look. There is a segment of society that wants that and there is a segment that hates that look. Across the board, one of the nice things is that there is a diversity of what people want, which is fun and it makes what I do more interesting in that I have people that want all kinds of styles.
