How It Works
In the event of an accident or injury, press the emergency button. The emergency button connects with the base unit to call the CVS Medical Alarm monitoring center, where an operator will determine the problem and call emergency personnel and your family. The operator will also pass along important medical information to the paramedics. The monitoring center works 24 hours a day, seven days a week, so an operator is always available.
Installation
The Medical Alarm is relatively easy to install. Upon receiving the unit, plug in the included power cords to a power outlet and attach them to the back of the base unit. Plug in the included phone cord into a phone jack. Once the power and phone cords are attached, you can activate the system. You will need 110-volt wiring and working telephone service to use the Medical Alarm system.
