The Denver Zoo is the fourth most popular zoo based on paid attendance. And it is in the midst of a 125 million dollar refurbishing. They just added a wonderful new lion section that recreates the plains of Africa. Before that, they added one of the largest primate areas in any zoo and they have 30 different primates there from great apes to orangutans. We also just added a thing that recreates the North Pole and we have polar bear cubs right now, they are really cute. They have wild life for the whole month of December and the entire zoo is open on every evening. It is located in City Park, just two miles from downtown. There's music and over one million lights during Christmas time. There is a little train at the zoo.
