How to Design a Logo Online

    The Internet is the single most important place of business in the new information age. Almost every company has an online presence, and Internet commerce continues to grow each day. Businesses like eBay and Amazon have made a fortune doing business online. They have paved the way for more online stores and companies to follow in their footsteps. However, there are many business out there on the Internet, and your company needs to stand out. That is why designing an original company logo is so important. Today, there are many tools that allow you to do this online without any additional software.
    • Step 1

      Research what other online companies use for their logos. Make a list of what works best in your opinion. Note the color scheme and design elements. Try to find a pattern in the most successful companies. Use these images as inspiration for your own ideas.
    • Step 2

      Choose an online logo creator that allows you the most customization. Logoyes is a great user friendly interface that allows a choice of many images.     • Step 3

      Select the style of image that you would like to use from the list provided. This can range from "High-Tech", "Bold" and "Flair." Consider which style best suits your company. A creative company might be best suited to the "Flair" style, but you should go with whatever you feel looks right.
    • Step 4

      Choose the type of business that best reflects your business from the list provided. These include everything from accounting to animal care. Once you have selected the appropriate company type, a large gallery of images is at your disposal. Pick the one that would be a great symbol for your company. For example, if the greatest aspect of your company is how it solves problems for other companies, perhaps a brain icon would work.
    • Step 5

      Enter the name of your company in the space provided. Select the appropriate font. If you are a no-nonsense business, bold rigid lettering would work best. However, if you have creative firm, you might want to choose a more flavorful font.
    • Step 6

      Resize the image with the tools provided. You can rotate, shift, enlarge, and shrink both the image and text. Choose your image and background color from the options to your right. You can then finalize and purchase the image.

      Upload the image to your website. Print it out on business cards. Add it to the your company stationary.
