Digital video is pretty much the standard now with wedding videographers. Photographers are still debating the benefits of digital cameras, but videographers generally speaking are all using digital video now. Anyone who is using older technology like VHS or SVHS is probably not a great sign because the technology is inexpensive enough nowadays for videographers to be using digital video. Digital video is much better quality than VHS or SVHS. They do still use those technologies for broadcast work, but generally speaking all wedding videographers now are shooting on digital equipment and editing your final video for DVD and DVDs also last a lot longer than VHS does.
