Contact the Arc in Massachusetts. The Arc works to assist both mentally and physically disabled adults and children throughout the state. The organization has also found for fair labor laws as well as health care for disabled individuals. Give your car to The Protestant Guild for Human Services. Since 1946, The Protestant Guild has provided a variety of services and programs to aid special needs children in Massachusetts. The Guild also runs The Learning Center, a school that specializes in educating special needs kids. The Guild will pick your car up for free and you will be given a receipt once the car is sold. Donate your car to the Good News Garage in Massachusetts. The Good News Garage sells donated vehicles at a very low price to low income families who need transportation in order to get to and from work. Even though your car is sold for a cheap price, you still receive the maximum tax deduction allowed by law when you donate your vehicle to the Good News Garage. Call the Epilepsy Foundation of Massachusetts & Rhode Island. The foundation works to educate both the public and health care professionals about epilepsy. The foundation also offers support groups and other services for individuals dealing with epilepsy in their daily lives.
