Easy Chinese Stir Fry Recipe

One of the easiest and quickest chinese stir fry recipes.

Chinese Stir Fry

The beauty of this stir fry is that you can use any vegetable that takes your fancy.

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 green pepper, seeded and chopped finely

4 carrots, peeled and cut into thin strips, or diced

1 half of a small cabbage, chopped into thin strips

1 cup of bean sprouts (or 1 tin)

2 tablespoons soya sauce

In a wok, or a large saucepan, heat the oil. Add the green pepper and fry for about 1 minute. Add the carrots and stir fry for about 2 minutes. Add the rest of the ingredients and stir fry for a further 3 minutes.

Remove from the heat and serve immediately.

Variations:

Add chopped mushrooms, red pepper and bamboo shoots.

Add flaked leftover chicken.
