Easy And Delicious Baked Pork Chops Recipe

Baked pork chops recipe, easy and delicious, with two side dish variations to satisfy your tastebuds.

Choose center cut pork chops or the budget specials. Either way, this easy and delicious recipe will soon become a family favorite.

Ingredients for 4 servings:

4 pork chops

4 tablespoons prepared mustard

(plain yellow is great, but the Dijon will work, too)

Dried Oregano or dried Italian seasoning

Place the pork chops on a baking sheet. Spread about 1 tablespoon of mustard over the top of each pork chop with a butter knife. After you've tried this recipe, you may wish to adjust the amount of mustard to suit your taste. Generously sprinkle dried oregano or dried Italian seasoning over each pork chop. Bake in a pre-heated 350 degree oven for approximately 1 hour. Cooking time may vary according to the thickness of the pork chops.

If you would like the entire meal to be as simple to fix as the pork chops, prick four potatoes with a fork and pop them in the oven, too. Heat frozen corn or a can of French Style green beans and your cooking is done for this meal. Add a generous dollop of cold applesauce to each plate before serving and wait for the compliments.

A simple change in side dishes, with only slightly more work, will create a different taste sensation using the same pork chop recipe. You'll need a box of au gratin potatoes and a package of frozen broccoli. Prepare the au gratin potatoes according to the "casserole" instructions on the package. The instructions include various baking times according to different oven temperatures, which allow the potatoes to bake alongside the pork chops. Prepare the broccoli according to instructions and it's dinnertime.
