Easy Italian Meatballs Recipe

This meatball recipe can be used in spaghetti, in a meatball sandwich, or as an appetizer.

1 pound ground beef

1/2 pound ground turkey

salt and pepper to taste

1 tablespoon parsley

1 tablespoon nutmeg

1 tablespoon thyme

2 eggs

Mix all ingredients except eggs. Add eggs and mix until thoroughly combined. Roll in flour to form 1 inch balls. In a large skillet, heat shortening then add meatballs, and cook until browned, about 5 minutes over medium heat. Lower heat and cook an additional 25 minutes, turning occasionally.
