It's definitely something to think about up at the ski resorts. Grand Teton is 13,770 feet and then they have the Middle Teton that's 12,804 feet and the South Teton is 12,514 feet. The ski areas are around 10,000 feet and then Jackson is actually around 6000 feet. The air is definitely thinner here. So, if you don't have a good healthy heart you should be careful. We have had people going on hikes and faint and not realize that the elevation is something to consider because the air is so much thinner.
