Overview
With all of the male enhancement supplements on the market, it can be difficult to keep track of their names--let alone what each offers. Some of them not only promise to "cure" a man's erectile dysfunction but also help him perform in the bedroom. Enzyte goes even further in its claims, pledging benefits that also filter into daily life.
Function
Ultimately, Enzyte's main purpose is to treat a man's impotence while improving the quality of his erection, the vitality of his libido and the capacity of his sexual performance. These are a few of the product's claims. But the purported advantages don't stop there. This little pill is also supposed to heighten brain function, increase energy and enhance well-being. All of these rumored allowances are accomplished through a "once-daily tablet" that is basically an herbal supplement containing ingredients believed to improve blood flow throughout the body, as well as boost a man's sex drive.
Effects
Since that's an awful lot of upshots for one small pill, you're probably wondering if it actually works. Enzyte's claims are still unproven and untested as far as clinical trials go. And thousands of men have found that the product doesn't work as intended. Actually, a class action was filed against the company for "using false and deceptive advertisements" that contained anecdotal statistics to entice the male public into buying the product.
Ingredients
Legal problems aside, a mention should be made about what's actually in the herbal supplement that is supposed to help a man. Most of the ingredients in Enzyte's formula can be found in a number of other male enhancement products. The most frequent ingredients include ginkgo biloba, horny goat weed (otherwise known as epimedium), maca root, muira puama, saw palmetto and l-arginine. Together with ginseng and tribulus terrestris, the formula of Enzyte purportedly works with your body to "restore" healthy blood flow to your penis (and the rest of your system).
Dangers
For something that only allegedly works, the use of Enzyte has been known to produce many health-related issues. Some men have experienced a change in heart rate. Since a number of the ingredients alter the rate of a man's blood flow, his heart can begin to elevate--adding unneeded stress to the organ and possibly damaging it. Other men have complained of constipation and/or diarrhea, bloating, flatulence, a change in appetite, headaches, nosebleeds, insomnia and seizures due to the use of the product. In some cases, men have even suffered from impotence--a surprising result for something that "treats" the same issue. If you were to experience one or more of these side effects, you should cease using Enzyte immediately and contact your doctor.
Considerations
Despite the legal problems and potential side effects of Enzyte, many men still buy this product, hoping that the claims aren't as bogus as people have implied. While this decision is entirely up to the individual, there is also the potential that one or more of the ingredients in Enzyte may interact adversely with a prescription medication you are currently taking for some other health-related issue. Make sure to consult a physician about all potential derivatives of this supplement.
