The grand daddy is the Balloon Fiesta. Then, in the fall we have our State Fair. The New Mexico State Fair is held right in the center of Albuquerque at Expo, New Mexico. That's a two week event with livestock and horse races. Around Memorial weekend we have a wine festival that takes place at Balloon Fiesta Park. There are also soccer and baseball fields at the park when we are not using it for ballooning.
We have a lot of tournaments that take place. We also have a huge softball contingency in this city, and there are softball leagues that go on from spring to fall.
We have a number of art festivals. We have New Mexico Arts and Crafts Fair, which takes place in June. That's also held at Expo, New Mexico, and that's a juried show where you have to be invited to come in.
