Probably the largest festival here is Sun Fest which occurs every first weekend in May. It's a four day festival and art show with outstanding live entertainment drawing around 350,000 people per year.
We have a big race in early December, the Marathon of the Palm Beaches, which is a marathon downtown with probably 5,000 runners and 10,000-15,000 people in attendance. It's one of the premier new marathons in the country. The race director is Dave McGulry who is also the race director for the Boston Marathon. Baseball spring training is a big opportunity for tourists. We have both the Florida Marlins and the St. Louis Cardinals major league baseball teams in one facility, the stadium in Jupiter, during the month of March. One of the teams will be playing everyday.
