Overview
You are given one body in your life, so you should really treat it as such. And one of the main tenets of this idea is fully understanding what you are exactly putting in your body, even when something is said to be all-natural. ExtenZe is one such product purported to offer a slew of benefits without any side effects. This requires further probing.
Function
ExtenZe is an all-natural male enhancement supplement that touts itself as not a "gimmick" but an actual product entirely based on real science. Through a unique blend of herbs and "medical grade substances," the makers of ExtenZe promise to provide men with a larger penis and erection, better orgasms, an enhanced libido and an improved sex life. This is all accomplished with the most advanced enhancement formula on the market today, or that is what the makers want you to believe.
Ingredients
The product itself is made from mostly a combination of herbs, including yohimbe extract, tribulus terrestris, ginseng, cnidium monnier, eleutherococcus extract, xanthoparmelia scarbosa, horny goat weed (epimedium), muira puama, l-arginine, stinging nettle, damiana leaf, velvet deer antler, boron and astragalus root. If none of these ingredients sound at all familiar, you are not alone, though most are also found in a number of other male enhancement formulas on the market today, just in different percentages.
Effects
The main way in which ExtenZe claims to work is by improving the blood flow to the penis. This development essentially allows the blood needed to achieve rigidity of an erection to actually reach the entirety of the penis. The main problem with this is that the herbs don't just target this area of the body, and essentially works to heighten your overall blood flow, which can pose some very serious problems.
Warning
When you elevate the rate of blood flowing through your body, there is the potential to increase a person's actual heart rate. This could add unneeded stress to the organ and eventually damage the way it performs. Besides this serious problem, a number of people have also claimed to experience other side effects, including diarrhea or constipation, migraines and headaches, insomnia, dizziness, lightheadedness, anxiety, mood swings, abdominal pain, gas or bloating, frequent urination, enlarged prostate and heart palpitations. On occasion, men have also suffered seizures. Though rare, there is still the potential.
Considerations
One of the biggest problems with ExtenZe, besides the potential side effects and its actual efficacy, is the slant to its advertising. When you market a product as backed by science, you add a dangerous validity that it is genuinely approved by doctors, which it isn't. The statements made about the product haven't even been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), posing some significant issues for its subscribers. If you were to experience any of side effects from ExtenZe, you should stop taking the supplement and contact your doctor immediately.
