Try this tempting candy roll recipe to delight the taste buds!
1 c chopped pecans
1/3 c white syrup
1/2 tsp salt
1/3 c butter
1 1/2 tsp desired flavoring
1 lb powdered sugar
Mix together butter, syrup, flavoring and salt. All at once, add sugar; mix thoroughly. Knead until smooth. Shape mixture into 2 rolls, 2 inches thick. Brush with additional syrup and roll in chopped pecans. Wrap; chill. Slice into 1/4 inch pieces before serving.
Variations: Coconut, chocolate chips and food coloring.
