Easy recipe for cheesy succotash, prepared as a casserole,made with French style green beans, sharp cheese and topped with bread crumbs.
One 16-ounce can French-style green beans, drained
One 16-ounce can whole kernel corn, drained
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup sharp American cheese, shredded
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
1/2 cup chopped celery
2 Tbsps chopped onion
1 cup bread crumbs
2 Tbsps butter melted
1. Combine green beans, corn, mayonnaise, cheese, green pepper, celery and onion. Turn mixture into a baking dish.
2. Combine melted butter and bread crumbs. Sprinkle crumb mixture on top of casserole.
3. Bake at 350 degrees until crumbs are toasted and mixture is heated through, about 30 minutes.
