Fast And Easy Family Recipes: Opal Basil Buttered French Beans Recipe

This opal basil buttered french beans recipe features steamed French beans drizzled in opal basil butter and sprinkled with Parmesan cheese, great with lamb or beef.

Serves 4

INGREDIENTS:

2 tbsp. butter

1/2 cup opal basil, coarsely chopped

4 tbsp. fresh parsley, finely chopped

1 tsp. salt

1 tsp. black pepper

1 lb. French beans, halved

Parmesan cheese to serve

METHOD:

Steam French beans for 15 minutes until tender. Meanwhile, melt butter in a pan.

Add opal basil, parsley, salt and black pepper. Arrange French beans on a serving plate. Drizzle over opal basil butter. Serve hot as a side dish to lamb or beef, garnished with Parmesan cheese.
