What Is Feng Shui Art?

What is Feng Shui art? Feng Shui art is used to create balance to invite nature in to your home, space, or body. The art in Feng Shui is adjusting energy. Feng Shui art can be anything that is meaningful to you. Every thing is talking to you in your enviroment.

Art, in every culture, is known to be an expression of specific emotions, thoughts or intentions. In Feng Shui, the concept of art is not only this expression, but also these intentions combined with concepts of the inner self. As Feng Shui works to harmonize and balance the energies of the earth, so does the art that is expressed within these terms and in one's personal life.

Theresa Hart is a Feng Shui specialist, who both practices and advises others about Feng Shui art and other principles. With her advice, she has recognized the value of Feng Shui art in order to create energy and balance in one's home or work area: "Feng Shui art is used to create balance to invite nature in, whether it is to your home, space, or body. It creates this vitality, harmony, balance, and then again, anything you intend."

With this intention, is the importance to use art as part of the energies that are in a specific place. This means that one will use the art to reflect where one wants their mind to be and what will have meaning in relation to this. With this intent in mind, the art becomes a tool for reflection and movement towards specific energies. According to Hart, this energy is adjustable by the use of seeing this art and creating a specific picture within it.

With Hart's specific practices of art and Feng Shui, she is careful to notice if something doesn't have meaning. This affects the environment as much as art that is reflective: "I have gone into some homes where the pictures are a little bit surprising; so I will ask the client, 'What does this picture do for you or what does this mean?' Sometimes they will say, 'Nothing,' and then, I will say, 'Would you mind taking it off the wall?'"
Feng Shui art is not only a reflection of intention and mood, but also how things affect one in their environment. In order to create a flow and balance of the elements of the earth as well as the vibrations of energies in your home, it is important to make sure that the art that is there will give you this energy and create a mood that you will want to carry in your daily life.

"You want your energy to go up and you want things that are uplifting. That is good for your Chi (energy) and good for your health. But if there is a lot of clutter in one area, it will affect that part of your life and it could be soon or it could be 20 or 30 years down the road. It depends on how strong your personal Chi is and how long it takes to affect you....It is a metaphor for your life, and then, you can see what the issues are in the person's life by what is going on in their house," says Hart.

Feng Shui art is not only a reflection of expression, but also an energy and idea that you carry through one's mind and emotions. Because of this, having the right art and understanding how Feng Shui relates to the expression, energies and intentions is vital in the practice of Feng Shui.
