In the summer we have our Harbor Arts event, which is an arts and craft show plus lots of other activities. That festival is always the third weekend in July.
On the first weekend in October we have another Harbor Arts event.
On Labor Day we have the Windjammer Weekend. All the windjammers in the area come into the harbor at the same time and there are a lot of really fun activities like lobster races, music, and food.
In December we have a festival called Christmas by the Sea, which is wonderful.
There are always a lot of artists and artisans here and you can go on tours of studios and galleries year round. There are also workshops in film and photography, especially in the summer.
