Starting in February, right around President's Day, we have the Portland Jazz Festival and they pull in jazz musicians from all over the world. For example, this year Winton Marseilles is coming. In May we have Fiesta and that's held outdoors at Waterfront Park. It's one of the largest Hispanic celebrations in the country. Then in June, the Rose Festival kicks off, which lasts nearly a month and many events fall under the Portlander Rose Festival umbrella including the Star Lake Parade, which is the second largest floral parade in the country, and the Portland Art Show. Then in July we have the Waterfront Blues Festival and the Oregon Brewer's Festival, which is a tribute to all the beer making that's happening here and they invite brewers from all over the country to come. This weekend is the Portland Marathon and we get people from all over the world to compete in that, it always amazes me.
