If the slides are broken, it's probably a very, very old table and the slides are just plain worn out. We can go and remove the slides, order new ones and put them in and the slides will work like brand new. It's not that easy because they have to be totally and perfectly parallel to each other or they start binding and won't open anymore. They will get jammed and there will be cracking. If it is just a little crack in the end of the course, we can try to fill it. If it is broken in the interior, you have to take the top completely apart and join the edges to make them perfectly parallel to each other. Then you can glue them back together. You will have to hand stain the top to get it to look like the rest of the old wood.
