FucoThin Side Effects

  • Overview

Whenever a new weight loss product hits the market, the first thing that comes to mind is the question of if it actually works. The second thing is usually whether it has any nasty side effects. While the makers of most of these herbal weight loss pills will claim that there are no harmful by-products with use, many of the actual ingredients do have some consequences. FucoThin is no different.
  • Identification

FucoThin is an herbal supplement that basically increases metabolism and burns fat without any problematic side effects, or at least that is what its makers claim. Through a unique blend of ingredients, including brown seaweed concentrate (undaria pinnatifida and laminaria japonica) and pomegranate seed oil as well as extra virgin olive oil, gelatin, glycerin and purified water, the product targets the fat stored in the tissue of the abdomen by increasing a person's overall metabolic rate, reducing belly fat.
  • Side Effects

Though the actual product of FucoThin is said to have no genuine side effects, there is the potential of one or more of its ingredients producing some undesirable or problematic derivatives. Prolonged use of laminaria japonica has been known to produce fever, cramping and chest pain in some individuals. Despite the fact that this is generally rare, you should be conscious of the potential before using FucoThin to lose weight.

  • Other Problems

While not an actual side effect, some people have complained of an allergic reaction to FucoThin, or the ingredients in the herbal product. Some common signs and symptoms of this allergy are hives or a rash, itchy sensation, puffiness, a swelling of the lips or tongue, a tightness in the throat or chest and a problem breathing. If you do experience one or more of these symptoms, you should stop taking FucoThin immediately and consult a health professional.
  • Considerations

Due to the fact that FucoThin is considered an herbal supplement, it is not held to the same regulations by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as those medications taken under the prescription and guidance of a physician. The problem with this is that there isn't a full understanding of how the supplement (or the ingredients of this supplement) will actually interact with certain medications you may currently be on or certain conditions you may have. If you are taking a medication for a condition, consult your physician before using FucoThin. It may counteract or have an adverse effect on a prescription drug or worsen the symptoms of an illness.
  • Function

As with any weight loss pill, the makers of FucoThin recommend that you use the product in conjunction with a reduced calorie diet and increased exercise. Without either, you will not see an actual change in your weight or body fat, which begs the question of the product's actual need. Most people who observe a well-balanced, low-calorie diet and daily exercise will see a positive change in their weight.
