Consistency is probably the biggest thing. That means scheduling time in your day where you can workout at the gym or at home and not be interrupted while you are working out. Set some time aside for yourself and be consistent. You have to be working out at least three to five days a week for any kind of consistent result.
You can work out Monday, Wednesday and Friday of every week or can take off a day one week and pick up four days the next week. Most people just starting out are better to get on something consistent at least for the first couple of months.
When you start to see a result that's what keeps people continuing. As they get to a point where they are working out and they don't see results, they think why am I working out, I am not getting anywhere. So consistency is number one. The other thing is diet. You can only go as far as what you can do physically in changing your body composition, but diet plays an important role. Nutrition is important with the personal trainers. There are a lot of trainers out that are weak in nutrition and not knowing nutrition will be a setback. You will plateau at a certain point with exercise and without adding in the nutritional component you will not get very far.
