Geothermal heating and cooling systems use the ground temperatures to provide heating and cooling for the home or businesses, schools, hospitals, or any kind of application. Basically the ground stays at a very constant moderate temperature all year around, so we are using the ground as a giant heat exchanger; in other words, a heat source for heating or heat sync for cooling. We are simply moving energy from one point to another. Depending on whether we are heating or cooling, we use tubing in the ground to provide a very energy efficient way of heating and cooling. We're using a kind of low intensity geothermal source. we're just using the normal earth temperatures found on every lot by every home as opposed to a 3000 foot deep well that taps into hot steaming magma.
