OK, now you're ready to give yourself a manicure and pedicure. Remove all old nail polish on fingernails and toenails. Do your toenails first because this will prevent any damage to your newly painted fingernails . If your toenails need clipping, do this first. Always clip them straight across for a more attractive look. Use the sharp pointed blade on your clippers to clean your toenails. Use the buffing board to give your nails a shiny appearance. If you have any dry skin around your toenails, use the emory board to remove it.

Now, you're ready to polish them will your favorite color of nail polish. Place one cotton ball between each toe. If you get any polish on your skin, apply a little polish remover to a Q Tip and remove it.

Now, you're ready to do your fingernails. You've already removed any old nail polish so the next thing to is file your nails to the length that you prefer and always use a long stoke with the file because short stokes will damage your nails. Next, buff your nails, then apply a cuticle remover. Push the cuticle back with a cuticle stick and then wipe excess cuticle oil from nails. If you have any dry skin around your nails, use the emory emory board to smooth this away.

Now you are ready to apply your nail polish. Always use three long strokes with the polish. This should cover the complete nail. It make take a little practice to do this but it's worth it. Let the first coat dry. Go back to your toenails and apply another coat of polish, then go back and apply another coat to your nails.

After you're finished, spray your toenails and fingernails with nail enamel dryer. Your nails will dry very quickly with a hard shiny finish. All of these items can be bought in any beauty supply store and once you buy them they will last a very long time.

Doing your own manicure and pedicure is fun and inexpensive. Think of all the money you will save doing it yourself.
