We are located in the northeast portion of Alabama. We're 45 miles south of Hanceville, and 65 miles northeast of Birmingham. Population of the county is 83,000. There is also a public library. Mostly the weather is warm, like in the 80s. We have cold winters, we have beautiful springs, and we have great falls except it is so dry. Right now (September) it is hot, but usually it just moderate temperatures all year long. We have four definite seasons: winter, spring, summer and fall. Every once in a while there is snow, but not much.
