Las Vegas isn't know as Sin City for nothing. Home to casinos and show girls, this city also has a lot of spooky sites to visit in your paranormal adventures.
One of the most popular corners of the Strip is home to the Tropicana Resort and Casino. In fact, when you want to experience the ultimate in Las Vegas entertainment, the legendary "Folies Bergere" at the Tropicana is where tourists go to see the most beautiful show girls perform. When one first enters the Tropicana, the first thing that can be seen is the large Tiki mask located in the front lobby. It is this mask that some guests and employees feel is the source and site of the paranormal activity. Those who have made the mistake of touching the Tiki mask report contracting a large purplish rash on the part of their body that touched the mask. Others who have taken photos in front of the mask report that a large shapeless purple mass seems to hover unexplainably in the developed photos. While nobody is sure why this occurs, not many seem to question it.
Since 1946, the Flamingo has been one of the most popular and notable casinos in Las Vegas. Many do not realize that one of the most infamous mobsters of his time, Bugsy Siegel was the mastermind of this glamorous hotel, back in the day. He and his cohorts were well aware of the potential that Sin City held and persuaded their friends and bosses to invest in what was, at the time, the most decadent casino in the area. Once it was fully erected, the casino cost three times as much as they had originally anticipated, and the glamour of the ritzy casino was lost on visitors to Las Vegas, causing the Flamingo to fizzle and fade away. Angry that their money went to "waste," Siegel's "investors" turned against him, killing him in cold blood one year later. It is Bugsy's spirit that can often be seen lurking in those parts of the hotel that he loved, including his favorite Presidential Suite and the hotel pool. Both employees and guests, alike, have reported seeing the apparition in various parts of the hotel.
Just a little northeast of Las Vegas is the famed Nellis Air Force Base. Here, mechanics and other personnel have reported strange happenings that occur in the night hours. The building in which this paranormal activity takes place is Jet Engine Intermediate Maintenance Facility Building 858 and usually involves a gray apparition along with unexplained footsteps. Reports describe this apparition as more of a mist that seems to float a few feet above ground. Still other employees report seeing a strange unexplained ball of light that hovers two stories above ground.
