Old Tucson was a movie studio, a lot of the westerns were actually shot there. Several years ago it burned down, but they rebuilt it and it became more of a tourist attraction. You can get the western experience there and the kids really love it. If you happen to be a western movie buff, it's a lot of fun to see some of the scenes from the old movies. There are gunfights in the streets and there are old time western shows. They also have a special Halloween event at Old Tucson. It's all dressed up in Halloween style and there are the street shows. There are some really nice restaurants where you can stop and grab a bite to eat.
In the summertime there is a snow skiing and there is always camping. You can always camp and go mountain biking at Old Tucson. It's very beautiful up there and a great way to beat the summer heat.
