Even though most of us just enjoy drinking beer it can be used for lots of other things around the house. If you had a big party and there are a lot of leftovers or a keg that is going to go bad you can try some of these great beer ideas.

Pour some beer over a roast, steak, or brisket an hour before cooking and your meat will be tender and delicious. Even chicken can be made better with beer! Beer can chicken is made by taking an opened sixteen ounce beer and sliding it inside the cavity of a whole chicken. The beer can allows the chicken to stand upright on your grill or inside your oven. As the chicken cooks the beer from inside the can will bubble and steam out gradually and your chicken will be moist and tender.
Beer makes any batter better. Just use beer instead of water in your favorite batter mix and it will have a delicious flavor.
If you want extra soft hair with added body you can make your own shampoo with beer. Just mix a raw egg together with a half a can of beer and massage it into your hair. Rinse and style as usual.
Beer makes an excellent conditioner for your hair. Just massage a cup of warm beer into your hair and scalp after washing and allow it to set for half an hour or so. You will need to rinse your hair thoroughly afterwards or you will smell like a walking brewery!
