The Terrace Hotel is our downtown hotel, which is a property that was built in 20s and was renovated several years ago. We have several properties that range from economy hotels to your typical Hampton or Comfort Inn and Suites. We also have a couple of Holiday Inns, a Marriott Courtyard, and a Residence Inn, so we really have a wide range. We have about 3000 rooms within the city. Prices depend on the type of hotel and the season, but you probably looking at anywhere from $45 to $160 per night. The height of our season is February, March, and April, but because of a lot of sporting events and promotions within the state we are really becoming a year round destination.

We also have bed and breakfasts. One of them is right near Lake Morton, which is a bird sanctuary, and one is right across the street from Hollis Garden. It's a great destination for weddings. They do a lot of weddings in Hollis Garden. It's kind of a Mediterranean garden overlooking Lake Mirror. They took one of the homes built in the downtown historic district and turned into a bed-and-breakfast. Both Lake Morton and the Shaw House were homes that people came in and renovated while leaving a lot of the original architectural charm.

There are also vacation homes available. Many are inside Lakeland and then there are hundreds of them within about 20 miles to our east.
