On our website, www.goodnature.org, all of the hotels and motels in our area that are members of the chamber have a listing. We only have about 1500 hotel rooms the county, so our occupancy rates are extremely high. I'd say it's in the 90th percentile all year around. In fact, in the winter months I would say it's probably 100%. As a result, there are not very many discounts offered. At this point, the Hutchinson Island Marriott is the only thing available on the water. The Holiday Inn and the other Marriott were devastated in hurricanes and have not reopened. We are very limited. I would say that the Hutchinson Island Marriott is the most popular hotspot, because it's a resort with golf, tennis, a marina where you can dock up to a 120 footer, several good restaurants right on the property, a great pool area with peaky huts and an outside bar, and weekend entertainment. Not only do they offer hotel rooms, but they also have condo rentals right on the ocean. We don't have many bed and breakfasts left after the hurricanes, so if you want to book one for the winter season, you'll need to do so at least a year in advance. In the summer, I'd say book 6 to 9 months ahead.
