Your subconscious runs your body system. Hypnotherapy helps a person to actually go into the control room of their mind to turn up their metabolism. Turn up your fat burning level and turn off your desire for sweets. But everything begins with thought. When someone is on a diet, they think about food that is off limits, like ice cream. I help them look at ice cream as an item that is ok to have in moderation. People indulge in these items for a reason, so we find the root of what they are covering up, why they keep on eating or compulsively eating. They can go on as many diets as they want and they can lose the weight but they bring it back up again because there are some other issues they are not happy with and food for some reason gives them joy or company. For a lot of these people their life is boring, and if people are single, at home, kids have grown up, divorced they just eat because they are bored and they need some comfort. Since we were babies we learned food equals love and mom would hold us. We have that in our subconscious already preprogramed that if I eat those, old memories will come back.
