When you get all inclusive, you are going to get all of your food and all of your drinks, alcoholic or otherwise. You're going to get activities that are non-motorized like sailboats, kayaks, and the water trikes. You are going to get your gratuities 99.9% of the time, gratuities are not part of the package sometimes and you have to watch that. Transfers from the airport to the hotel are included as long as you purchase air. With some resorts, like the Palace Resort, you are also going to get some freebies like the excursions. Generally, you can get a two day package to a fourteen days package. There are "in" seasons and "out" seasons, and of course there are going to be spring breaks. That would be defined as pretty much the whole month of March and a lot of April because in Mexico, they have very long spring break periods. If you go for example during hurricane season (hurricane season actually is primarily the fall months September, October, and November) are going to be low season and you can do a three day all inclusive trips for cheap. Again, it depends on if you are east coast or Texas, but a three day package at a nice three star resort is going to start at $550-$1000. It is cheaper to go from New York or East Coast than it is from Texas, which absolutely shocks people. It's because they have marketed to Texas to build up the trips down there and we are so penetrated, that the air seats are booked up. But the people from New York, they have just really started (in the last year) penetrating the market up there, so it's a new market. Any time you open up a new market, the prices are low and then as its starts booking up the prices will of course go up.
