Plastic is naturally not a good, strong structural product, and therefore it's very difficult to make a structurally competent tank. No matter how much of this plastic you put into the wall, it's not a structurally competent product. You can put a lot of plastic into the wall of the plastic tank, and it's still not going to be as strong of a tank compared to the alternatives of concrete, steel, or Fiberglas. Other than that, they have the same advantages that fiberglass systems have. They are lightweight, easy to handle, and easy to get through the hole.
They have the same disadvantages as Fiberglass systems. They are prone to floating if you pump them empty.
