Step 1
Disconnect your old DIRECTV tuner. -
Step 2
Place your new DIRECTV HD DVR in your equipment rack and plug it into the electric outlet. Connect the antenna lead cable from the satellite dish to the input on the HD DVR. -
Step 3
Connect an HDMI cable to the output port on the back of the HD DVR, and then connect the other end to the input port of your HDTV.
