Overview
The Lexmark 8350 is an advanced, full-featured, all-in-one printer with the ability to print, copy, scan and fax. It includes features like multi-page faxing, photo printing, LCD screen preview and USB and memory card ports. Designed for home office or small business use, installing the 8350 is the first step to making the most of this advanced printer.

Step 1
Turn on the printer and open the scanner lid to insert the ink cartridges. Press down on the cartridge levers to open the lids. Make sure to remove the protective tape that covers the cartridge contacts. Insert the cartridges and close the individual lids. Close the scanner top. -
Step 2
Press the check symbol on the printer control panel to align the cartridges. Plug in the telephone line for faxing. -
Step 3
Boot your computer to the desktop and plug the printer cable into a vacant USB port. Click cancel on all dialog windows that open. -
Step 4
Insert the software CD that came with the Lexmark 8350. After the CD loads, click "Continue" and the driver should install. If you don't have the software CD or are running the Microsoft Vista operating system, download the driver from the Lexmark 8350 support page (see Resources). -
Step 5
Check the printer installation by printing a test page. Click on "Control Panel>Printers>Properties>Maintenance>Print Test Page."
